Sunday School and Bible Classes for all ages are held each Sunday morning during the school year starting at 10:15am. Check HERE for the current classes.
Bible studies and Confirmation Classes are held on Wednesday evenings during the school year. Check HERE for the current classes.
Other Bible classes, held at different times during the week, are held in people's homes.
Baptisms of infants, children, and adults may be conducted at the church by a Pastor either privately or during a normal church service. Contact the office to make arrangements. In emergency situations, a Pastor may also be available to perform a baptism elsewhere; call their cell phones 24/7.
Marriages are performed by one of the Pastors at the church with or without receptions at a nominal cost. The Pastors may also conduct a marriage ceremony elsewhere. Large marriages at the church should be scheduled well in advance in order to arrange for music and other services. The couple must receive counseling from a Pastor prior to their marriage. Our Pastors will assist the funeral director in arranging the details of funerals, which may be conducted at the church or elsewhere. Receptions/visitations may also be conducted at the church with refreshments provided at nominal cost. Contact the office for details.
Parts of the church building are being rented by various community groups. Contact the church office for fees and to schedule an event.
During each service, corporate prayers are offered for those that are ill or for other circumstances. Contact the office to have a name included.
The Pastors at Immanuel Lutheran are trained as counselors, especially in spiritual matters. Contact the office to arrange an appointment, or call their cell phones 24/7 in an emergency.
The Pastors and lay people allocate time during the week to visit shut-ins, hospital patients, and care center residents who are otherwise unable to attend functions at the church.
